The Marketing Chair at the 2026 AMA Summer Academic Conference in Denver

As part of the IJRM Special Issue Preconference, Ann-Kristin Rüther, together with Martin Krämer (University of Houston), presented a research proposal developed in collaboration with Sascha Alavi and Maximilian Frieß (Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences) on the topic of “AI Objective Design and Governance of Customer-Facing AI Systems.” The research project focuses on the question of how the objectives of customer-facing AI systems can be designed and governed.
The preconference was a valuable opportunity to discuss the research project with international scholars, receive constructive feedback, and gain important insights for the project’s further development.
In addition, the AMA Summer Academic Conference provided exciting insights into current research topics in marketing as well as the chance to exchange ideas with researchers from different countries and disciplines.
