This week, Mr. Stefan Reimer and Dr. Martin Gläßl from the consulting firm d-fine gave exciting insights into their work to the Bachelor students as part of the course "Marketing Research". Under the title "Elasticity-based Pricing at a Beauty-Retailer" the consultants presented one of their consulting projects with a large retailer. The focus of their presentation was on advising the retailer on the pricing of existing products - starting with problem outlining, through the acquisition and cleansing of data, to the final pricing strategy. The detailed lecture enabled the students to understand the individual phases of the market research process in practice and to gain insights into the work of a consultant.
